Shrimp Cocktail with a Twist

Here is our recipe for shrimp cocktail with a fabulous flavorful twist. We love to serve ours in individual portions in a stemmed glass or decorative bowls, but you can also serve it family-style.
Ingredients

200g peeled and cooked shrimp

Lettuce leaves (we like romaine or butter lettuce)

Fresh basil or dill

1 Lemon

1 cup Sour cream or greek yogurt (or half of each)

1 jar Pomodoro Sauce
-
1 pinch sugar
-
A few drops White Balsamic Vinegar

Italian Sea Salt

Fresh pepper
Dressing
Directions
Combine the sour cream/ yogurt with the pomodoro sauce and stir until smooth. Leave a small amount of pomodoro sauce for garnish later on. Season with sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
Coat the cooked shrimp in the dressing.
Arrange the lettuce leaves in your serving dish and top them with the shrimp salad.
Garnish with a dollop of Pomodoro sauce, fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Optional: If you like a bit of heat, add cayenne pepper or dried chili to taste.
