Pappardelle with meatballs in pomodoro sauce is a classic dish that can be elevated with high-quality, real Italian ingredients.
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

500g Pasta Pappardelle

1 jar Pomodoro sauce
-
1 ½ tablespoons Pasta spice mix

â…“ cup coarsely grated Parmesan

1 egg
-
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Fresh pepper
-
Italian Sea Salt

2 tablespoons Organic extra virgin olive oil, for frying

Organic peperoncino olive oil
Directions
Mix the garlic, Pasta spice, salt, grated parmesan, egg, and pepper with the ground beef.
Shape the mixed beef into 1-1.5 inch diameter balls and fry them in a pan in olive oil.
When all the meatballs are cooked, turn down the heat, and pour in the tomato sauce. The tomato sauce only needs to be heated through, so pour the sauce in when there are only five minutes left of the pasta’s cooking time.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water.
Place the cooked pasta in a serving bowl or pan and pour the meatballs and tomato sauce over.
Grate fresh parmesan and drizzle peperoncino oil over the top for garnishing and extra flavor.
