Try spicing up your morning oatmeal with this healthy, Italian-inspired recipe. Drizzle your oatmeal with Made by Mama’s organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), which is full of healthy polyphenols (antioxidants). High quantities of polyphenols help to give the oil more bitterness, and even a subtle spiciness, which adds beautiful complexity to a plain oatmeal. Give it a sweet, nourishing flavor with our Nocciolata (chocolate-hazelnut spread) and some fresh berries.
Ingredients

1 portion of oatmeal

Corresponding amount water, milk, or plant milk (to cook the oatmeal in)

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon Nocciolata

1 handful blueberries

1 splash Organic extra virgin olive oil

Fresh herbs (mint or basil)

1 crack Italian sea salt
Directions
Put oatmeal, milk, water and salt in a thick-bottomed pan (cook the oatmeal according to instructions on the package).
Once cooked, spread the oatmeal in a bowl and top with yoghurt, Nocciolata, berries and a drizzle of virgin olive oil. Enjoy!
