Focaccia may seem like a difficult thing to make yourself, but this recipe proves that it can be remarkably easy. Make a batch to enjoy throughout the week, or impress your dinner party guests with this fresh bread bursting with the taste of fresh olives.
Ingredients
-
1 bag Organic pizza flour mix
-
1 jar Marinated olives in spiced oil
-
Organic extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Mix the pizza flour and yeast package in a bowl.
Add 1 ¼ cup lukewarm water. Knead for 5-10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and uniform.
Put the dough in a springform or on the baking sheet dish in which you want to bake and let it rise there for 1 ½ hour. Line the dish with baking paper and/or grease the dish with olive oil as it gives the bread a nice crispy surface.
Heat the oven to 450 degrees and place a bowl of water in an oven-safe dish at the bottom of the oven.
Once the dough has risen, spread the olives and herbs on top of the raised dough and grease it generously with olive oil. Bake the bread for 20-30 minutes until beautifully golden.
