Crunchy Green Salad

Almost any salad can be elevated with white balsamic, an amazing extra virgin olive oil and our award-winning parmesan cheese. So we encourage you to try out different seasonal fruits and vegetables in your salads, while maintaining these core elements to dress them.
Ingredients

½ small head of cabbage, finely chopped

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 small green pepper, thinly sliced

2 stalks of celery, thinly sliced

1 ripe but firm pear, peeled, sliced into sticks

½ cup pomegranate seeds

1 handful seedless grapes, halved

Organic extra virgin olive oil
-
White balsamic vinegar

Parmesan cheese, grated into flakes

A few drops acacia honey (optional)

Freshly ground pepper
Directions
Slice and dice all your ingredients finely, and place in a large bowl. Combine well with your hands.
Right before serving, drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over top, and grind some pepper. If you choose to add a bit of honey, combine it with the oil and vinegar beforehand.
Grate the parmesan cheese over the salad just before serving. It contributes healthy fat, protein, a delicious umami flavor and a lovely texture. It doesn’t get any easier or healthier than this!
