Nothing beats a classic ice cream sundae. This is a luxurious take on the classics, with a wonderfully hazelnutty undertone and chocolate sauce made from high quality Italian whole ingredients. This sauce also makes a great topping for waffles or pancakes!
Ingredients
-
1 jar Nocciolata
-
1½ cups whipping cream or milk/ vegan milk
-
1 pint ice cream
-
Garnishes and toppings of your choice
Directions
Bring your jar of Nocciolata to room temperature so it is easy to remove it from the glass.
Pour it into a pan, preferably with a thick bottom, and add the whipping cream/milk. Ensure the heat stays at a medium temperature - do not bring the sauce to a boil.
Using a whisk, gently stir in circles while the sauce heats up. As you stir with the whisk, the sauce will start to look a little separated, but continue to stir in circles. Slowly, it will become a deep, delicious chocolate brown color.
Pour the rich nocciolata sauce over your ice cream and enjoy!
